Three Students Arrested in Connection to Takeo Street Murder

TAKEO: A male student was found beheaded on National Road 2 around noon in Pram Bei Mom commune, Traing district, Takeo province, on 3 February 2023. The police have now arrested three suspects, all school students, in connection to this murder.

On Monday morning, 6 February 2023, authorities investigated and arrested three student suspects while they were at school in connection to the murder of a 17-year-old boy on 3 February 2023.

According to the Kirivong District Police Inspectorate, after beheading the victim, the three suspects pretended like nothing had happened and continued to attend class as usual to avoid suspicion.

The three suspects are all 17-year-old students who live in Kirivong district, Takeo province and attend Sok An Tonleab High School.

Currently, the three suspects have been brought to the Traing District Police Inspectorate to further investigate and build their case in accordance with the legal procedures.
